3 dead in a grenade attack in Amritsar
Three people were killed after a grenade landed at a Nirankari prayer gathering in Amritsar. Two masked men used a pistol to enter the prayer hall and tossed a grenade killing 3 and injuring up to 19 people. Despite Nirankari and Sikh conflicts over the years, the cops suspect the involvement of a terror group like ISI backed Khalistan.

80 devotees arrested at Sabarimala for protesting
Around 80 devotees at the Sabarimala shrine have been arrested by the police for protesting outside the shrine. Ever since the supreme court verdict that allows women to enter the shrine came out, things have been tense at Sabarimala. The police say that they have nothing against the devotees, but will have to arrest them if they defy the supreme court order. 

Jet Airways cancels 10 flights in Mumbai, passengers stranded
Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after Jet Airways cancelled 10 flights. Apparently, the AIrline has a cash crunch and couldn't find enough pilots for these flights, which led to the cancellations of these flights.

Sex scandal exposed at UP shelter for girls
This piece of shocking news comes from UP's Deoria district after an 11-year-old girl escaped from a shelter home that ran a sex scandal. The scandal was run by the caretaker named Girija who used to drug young girls aged 10-15 and send them to entertain influential guests.
