Bombay Coffee House, Bandra [REVIEW]

Bombay Coffee House, at first glance, gives off the vibe that you get from Indian Coffee House, or maybe it’s just the name. The menu though is in no way similar. Bombay coffee house stands very close to the KFC on Linking Road, Bandra and has a very English look to the front. On the inside, space has been put to good use with ample seating space which doesn’t look cramped.

What we ordered and what did we think?

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

Loved it. You take a sip and feel the warm light caramel-y chocolate with a hint of salt and it ends with the bitterness of the caramel. It had the perfect balance of sweet and salt and we’d definitely go back just for this drink.

Brownie Milkshake

A very filling milkshake with small chunks of brownies blended with dark chocolate ice cream. It was a little too sweet for our taste.

Fried Chicken Burger

We know a lot of people like an overly meaty burger, and sometimes, we do too. But there’s just something special about a well-balanced Burger with a nice piece of the fried chicken patty in harmony with crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes that help cut the fat and making you feel good, inside. The patty on its own was a little under-seasoned, so our advice would be to eat the patty with the rest of the burger, don’t save it up for the end.

Waffles with dark chocolate sauce and peanut butter ice cream.

The waffles were well made and what’s more, they give you all four quarters of the waffle! The peanut butter ice cream was delicious. We’d suggest you ask for the dark chocolate sauce on the side and you’ll be good to go.

Service was very polite and being a coffee house, they give you time to comfortably sit and talk. No hurry. It is also a good place to just sit with a cup of coffee/tea and get your work done.
