As restaurants and caterers face taxing deadlines and an impossible number of mouths to feed, some of them crack under the pressure and give in to unethical ways to get the food to your plate.
One such incident happened in Mumbai when a Wedding reception turned into a scene of mass food poisoning scare. 11 of the guests had to be rushed to the VN Desai Hospital. 23 complained about uneasiness and nausea. Among the infected, there were also kids as young as 8 months.
I’ve always known that quality of food falls during peak seasons, but it should never go this far. Sending people to the hospital is next-level carelessness and this was just one incident in one city. What is the rest of the country going through?
