International Cookie Day: What Do Our Favourite Characters Snack On?

Cookies have played a huge role in our lives. Most of our childhood TV shows had characters that loved cookies. Here’s a throwback to those adorable characters and their favourite sweet sneeze.

Cookie Monster from Sesame Street

The Cookie Monster from the show ‘Sesame Street’ is best known for its voracious appetite. While he eats almost anything (including inedible objects), his favourite treat is a chocolate chip cookie. His famous eating phrases are "Me want cookie!", "Me eat cookie!, ”COOKIE!", and "Om nom nom nom”. We can all relate to that!
Due to the huge following of the show and numerous complaints from parents about the cookie monster ruining their kid’s habits, the lil’ blue fella now has to pretend to like fruits and eggplants. Talk about killing a vibe.

Scoobert "Scooby" Doo from Scooby Doo, Where are you?

Scooby is best known for being cowardly and clumsy, but his courage sees light when it’s time for a Scooby snack. The biscuit-like dog treat or cookie snack was usually shaped like a bone or, in later versions of the cartoons, Scooby's dog tag.

Sheldon from Young Sheldon & The Big Bang Theory

You know how cranky Sheldon is about food, as well as about everything in General. It only makes sense that he be picky about the cookies that he likes. In the 8th season, however, Amy finally figured out to make Sheldon happy by talking to his MeeMaw and procuring the recipe for her homemade cookies. Thus, we know that Moon-pie loves his Mee-Maw’s special cookies.

Friends

Remember when al Monica wanted was to be able to make the BEST Choco Chip Cookies for her kids? Phoebe came to the rescue and told her that her Wedding gift to Mon would be her mom’s cookie recipe that Monica absolutely LOVED. Everyone loved Phoebe’s homemade cookies that later just turn out be made with the recipe of ‘Toll House cookies’ from the back of the Nestles chocolate chip bag.

Teletubbies

If you don’t remember the mind-numbing cookie sharing episode of Teletubbies, then you are blessed. Those fat little-coloured bowling pins were cookie obsessed maniacs. Why are they on the list? Because you need to know this, the Teletubbies had kids. There’s more of them! They’re called Tiddlytubbies and they are creepier than their parents. How they managed to procreate is beyond me though.

Bojack Horseman

This might appeal to a very niche crowd. If you know Bojack, you know he had a huge conversation with himself to stop eating these cookies that he really likes - Choco-o’s. He obviously eats more but then again, who doesn’t?
