Pilot accidentally sets of Hijack alarm in Delhi
The pilot of an Afghan airliner headed to Kandahar sent a hijack alert to the ATC. The flight was asked to taxi to an isolation bay with 124 passengers on board. The Pilot told the CISF team that he was teaching the hijack protocol to his co-pilot and accidentally triggered off the alarm. The CISF followed protocol and frisked everyone on board. The flight was then allowed to take off.
Fire breaks out in a Mumbai High rise
A major fire broke out at Bismillah towers in Mumbai's Nagpada area. The fire started around 10 PM and with the help of four fire tenders and water tankers, it was doused by 11.45 PM. There are no casualties and the fire officials think that a short circuit could have caused the fire.
