Two Indigo planes avoid a mid-air collision

The Kolkata ATC instructed one of the planes to turn right and go as far as possible as both the planes had come at the same level. There were only 45 seconds to the possible collision before ATC officials noticed it and asked the pilots to divert.

 

Terrorists gun down BJP leader in J&K

BJP's Kashmir unit secretary anil Parihar and his brother were shot down by terrorists in Kishtwar town. A curfew was imposed after the incident to deal with a communal situation in town.

 

India tops the most net shutdowns in the world.

India has had a total of 121 instances of internet shutdowns this year which is more than any country in the world. Internet shutdowns are imposed to avoid riots, hate crime and even cheating in exams.
