In a late night operation that took place on the 2nd of November, man-eating tigress Avni was shot dead by sharpshooter Asghar Shafath Ali Khan. The villagers celebrated their victory over the beast by distributing sweets, lighting crackers and dancing.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan who turned a year older recently threw a birthday bash at a very popular restaurant in Mumbai. However, his party was interrupted by the Mumbai Police as they asked the restaurant to stop the loud music that was being played.
