UK parkour group deported by Mumbai Police
After pulling off some scary parkour stunts on the rooftops of residential buildings in Prabhadevi, a UK based parkour group has been deported. Mumbai Police deported the group of six under the provisions of the Foreigner's act for visa violation. 

New weatherproof road allows travel to Ladakh 12 months a year
A new double lane motorable road from Manali to Ladakh will make the area accessible to motorists throughout the year. Earlier, the Srinagar highway used to be shut in the winter due to heavy snow. Since the new road is weatherproof, motorists will now be able to travel to Ladakh even during heavy snowfall.

Mother elephant and Calf rescued from a ditch after 36 hours
The wildlife authorities in Karnataka have rescued a female elephant and her calf who fell into a ditch after a 36-hour long operation. The mother elephant fractured its leg during the fall and couldn't get out of the mud-filled pit. Both the animals will be kept in a shelter to help them recover from their injuries. 

ISRO to launch 31 satellites today!
The Indian Space Research Organisation will launch an earth observation satellite along with 30 different satellites of 6 other countries. The satellite HySIS will help in monitoring pollution from industries in India.
