After 72 days, Mobile Services Are Back In J&K

After the absolute halt of mobile services in J&K for 72 days, people can finally connect with their families and loved ones in and outside the state. Businessmen and women have connected with their offices and now have some idea of what is happening. Loved ones are hearing the voices of their beloved after two whole months and the state is overwhelmed to talk to them. Jammu, governor Satya Pal Malik reiterated that lives were more important than the freedom to use mobile phones. “(Postpaid) mobile services have been restored and the internet will be back soon. We had blocked these services only because terrorists were using these for their activities such as mobilization and indoctrination," he said on the sidelines of a police passing-out parade at Kathua.
