Are You A Stoner? These Easy Recipes Might Help You Get Bombed!

this shit gets you BAKED

If you’re reading this, you’re either a stoner enticed by the title of this article or probably an angry parent, or maybe I’m just misguided. But welcome to Binge’s guide to easy pot food! In this article, we aim to make weed and food go hand in hand using the simplest methods available. Cause let’s be honest for a second, no one really gives a shit about how good or even gourmet-like the food is, as long as this shit gets you BAKED. Also, anyone who’s ever been stoned knows that work doesn’t happen all that well.

Keeping all of this in mind, we at Binge have decided to provide you with some tried and tested recipes that make the world 120% more colourful but don’t require too much effort. So here it goes:

1. "Green" Tea:

You need: 1/2 gram of weed, 1/2 teaspoon of butter, an empty tea bag (or a strainer), 1 and 1/2 cup of water.

How to make it: First, chop up the weed into fine bits, clean off the seeds and the stems, but make sure it’s not powdered. Then you add butter to the mix, but make sure it’s not more than the mentioned amount. Put the weed and butter mix into a tea bag and keep it in simmering (not boiling, very important) water for about 30 minutes. Then you take the tea out, add honey or sugar for sweetness, and you’re ready to go!

2. Cloudy Cookies:

You need: A cookie mix from your favourite company, 14 grams of weed, 226 grams of butter

How to make it: Crush the weed, removing the stems and the seeds. Mix the weed with the butter and let it melt on a saucepan. Let it simmer for about 45 minutes, then take the mix out and use a strainer to separate the butter from the buds. This butter is called cannabutter. Then, whatever cookie mix you have, follow the instructions on the pack, and instead of adding butter to the mix, add the cannabutter that you had made previously. And there you go, a very, very stony cookie!

3. Bhang Thandai:

You need:400ml of water, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, ginger and fennel, 1/2 tsp aniseed and cardamom powder, 200g sugar, 800g milk, mint leaves and rose petals

How to make it: As usual, clean the weed out, remove all the stems and seeds. Grind it to a pulp and then add it to a bowl with sugar and water. Leave it there for about a couple of hours, and then strain it until the residue is dry to touch. Add milk to the extracted liquid and chill until ready to serve. Then add the mint leaves, rose petals and the garnish for added flavour!

4. Hash Pakodas:

You need: 2 cups of besan, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 3 medium sliced onions, 2 cups of refined oil, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of crushed hash/ bhang powder ( you may find some at local pan outlets), 4 chopped potatoes

How to make it: Add the besan, salt, turmeric, chilli powder, bhang powder and water in a bowl and mix them until the consistency drops. Add the finely chopped onions and potatoes to the batter and leave it for some time. Add the refined oil to a pan, and make sure it’s shallow enough to fry the pakodas. Add a drop of batter to the oil, if it turns golden, fry the rest of the batter in a somewhat shapely manner. Once they turn golden, take them out and you’re good to go!

5. Classic Pot Brownies:

You need: The Betty Crocker Brownie Mix, 14 grams of weed, 226 grams of butter

How to make it: Make the cannabutter as mentioned in the cookie section. Follow the instructions on the Betty Crocker Brownie packet and instead of adding normal butter, add the cannabutter to the mix. Easy, isn’t it?
