Intelligence agencies have alerted the National Capital about a possible terror attack. They say there seems a likelihood of a group of men entering Delhi, with ulterior motives. Security has been beefed up and Delhi is on high alert.
Delhi on high alert
According to reports, four to five men from Jammu and Kashmir are said to try and enter the Capital. Intelligence agencies have also warned the Delhi Police about the travel ways that may be used. These men may try to use roadways, a bus, car or taxi, to make their way into the borders of Delhi. Following this, Delhi was put on high alert, and also all neighbouring bus and railway stations were notified by the authorities.
Sources also say, 15 police districts have been put on high alert. This along with the units of the Crime Branch and the Special Cell. Crowded spaces such as markets are being closely watched.
This development comes amid high tensions in Ladakh, following the Galwan Valley Clash. India China border tension is still tense. This after the intervening night of June 15-16 when 20 Indian jawans were martyred during the faceoff.
