Thanks to technology, making music for the masses no longer has to be a difficult or accessible task. I mean, Billie Eilish just won 4 Grammy's from her bedroom (this is not shade, don't attack me!) While this has allowed talent to flourish, with unique and different voices being heard, this also means that the standards for what can be considered music have been dropped immensely. Cue Elon Musk's new track, Don't Doubt ur Vibe.

If Don't Doubt ur Vibe was made by anyone who wasn't an eccentric multi-millionaire who's already a meme, I can guarantee you, it would have received no traction at all. Instead, the track had already garnered 270,000 listens within four hours of its release.

The entire four-minute song is a heavily digitally edited Musk repeating four lines that are further from lyrical genius than Musk is from bankruptcy.

The music itself is nothing noteworthy either, with the most commendable aspect probably being high production quality. (That's not a compliment.) As one would expect, there is little or no respect for song structure or dynamics, probably due to a lack of knowledge rather than carelessness. It's just another SoundCloud song that wouldn't have gone over ten likes if it wasn't Musk.

While this isn't Musk's first song, his debut single, "RIP Harambe," could at least have been treated as a joke or a parody. However, this time around, he proudly declares "wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals myself!" Honestly, I've seen better Instagram aesthetic poetry.

Elon has surely given the world many genius technological innovations and advancements, but his music is not one of them.
