Handy Tips To Keep Your Kitchen Clean

The kitchen is the heart and center of the home, but it gets dirty fast. If neglected, aside from basic washing up and wiping down, the kitchen can get out of hand very quickly.

But forget weekend cleaning marathons — you can deep-clean the kitchen from top to bottom (and keep it clean!) in only 20 minutes a day.

Wipe Down the Sink 
A clean kitchen sink is important for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. If the sink isn't sanitized then it's easy to get other things in your kitchen dirty too: dishes, washcloths, scrub brushes, etc. Keep a sponge, and my favourite sink cleaning product, close at hand and then I clean the sink at the end of every day.

Organize your kitchen with work stations in mind.
Every item in your kitchen should have a permanent home and everyone in the family should be oriented to where this home is located. If your kitchen is out of control most of the time, then chances are good you haven’t assigned a home to all of your items.

Clean as you go–all day.
Life for all of us is so busy. Getting to work and/or getting the kids off to school every morning combined with trying to get dinner on the table every night can be stressful! It is easier to just plop all the dishes in the sink and worry about them at the end of the day before you go to bed. And if this works for you and your family, go for it!
