Mystery boxes are really fun. If you buy one from the internet, you kind of have a rough idea of what you're gonna get depending on the seller. For example, it could be a tech related box or a pop culture box filled with action figures and posters.

But when you buy a mystery box from the dark web, you are definitely going to get things that would probably not let you sleep for a couple of days. A lot of YouTubers recently came out with videos of them unboxing these dark web boxes.

But it's not possible to determine the authenticity of these videos as they draw a lot of attention and anyone could put together a bunch of random things and tell people that it's from the dark web. Just to see how easy it is to procure a mystery box, we fired up our Tor browser and decided to explore a few links. After bouncing from page to page, we came across a marketplace with a list of random things including a range of mystery boxes.

These boxes range from anywhere between 100$ to 10,000$ (6500 rupees to 6,50,000 rupees.) There is absolutely no way to determine if the seller is authentic. For all, you know these links may be scams and you may end up losing your money. Since dark web trade happens only through bitcoins, you can’t trace the scammer.
