Tell Me More, DAMMIT!

Imbiss means “Light meal” in German but I don’t think anyone eats light at this place.

A casual little place with indoor and outdoor seating (it’s still pretty tiny but you go there for the FOOD). Imbiss originally had just one outlet in Bandra West but their popularity caused them to open up shop in Santa Cruz East as well. Because everyone deserves a good meat dish that’s not too expensive.



These guys serve really wholesome European and American meat dishes. Meats ranging from chicken to pork to rabbit to duck to buffalo and even beef! There is an eggplant dish tucked between the Imbiss fried chicken and stuffed ham. I called Imbiss to ask why. Why do you have just one lonely veg dish? The reply was simple- “It’s meant for unfortunate souls who had no option but to accompany their non-vegetarian friends.”
