Ketchup + Mayonnaise = Mayochup? WHAT?!

If you’ve grown up, you’ve surely heard of the ketchup brand Heinz. They recently tweeted a poll asking Americans if they wanted a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise which they decided to call ‘Mayochup’

If you’ve grown up, you’ve surely heard of the ketchup brand Heinz. They recently tweeted a poll asking Americans if they wanted a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise which they decided to call ‘Mayochup’. They required 500,000 votes to get it into production, but they actually ended up with a whopping 680,000!

While the product is already available in some countries in the Middle East, Heinz said it wanted to know if Americans would be receptive to a “US debut”.Turns out, a huge population nodded a yes. But there are others who weren’t so excited about this.

The Latinos and Puerto Ricans have been making something of the sort along with other condiments combined with the basic dualistic mixture. Some even accused Heinz of colonizing this native dish.

Controversy or not, I personally think this would be a HUGE change to my dipping lifestyle. What do you guys think of this? Answer in the comments below!
