The Urban Foundry# opens in place of Ellipsis in Mumbai and from the looks of it, the place looks like it is here to stay.

Know More:
The eatery has a contemporary feel with black marbles, leather sofas navy walls with golden finish metal giving an adequate look of a factory. The place promises to play only western music with strictly no Bollywood which time will tell if that works in Colaba.

The menu brings a fusion of ingredients and names that are fairly unique expect Dal Bati khowsuey, Blue cheese bacon kulcha and Tuna truffle pizza which is Japanese take on pizza. Even with an unconventional menu like that you know its the fusion of ingredients is subtle and its fairly easy to pictures the dish to be tasteful. Think of frozen gajar halwa or watermelon rasmalai carpaccio, as unique the amalgam may sound the flavours seems plausible and palatable.

Hit the bar and try cocktails like Big Fat Indian Wedding (bourbon+ black and white+Kahlua and coke), Black is Black with Tanqueray and activated charcoal and the best selling Knuckle Up, starting at INR400 and above.
