Looking to try something unique this week? Try the Pack-a-pav’s North Eastern variety available this week. In 2016, Pack-a-Pav launched ‘Pav With Friends’ a special dining series during which we invite some of the city's most talented home cooks and chefs to guest at Pack-a-Pav and serve their signature versions of the pav sandwich at their Bandra store. Regional food lovers are in for a treat, at the sixth edition this weekend, Gitika Saikia, the city’s favourite Assamese home cook, will put her unique spin on the pav sandwich.  Try dishes like Akhone Chicken Pav with ingredients such as bhut jolokia, baby potatoes and olives, cooked Assamese style and packed in a pav.

What Else
For Pav with Friends, Saikia has pushed the boundaries of her own cooking. Gitika admits that the food of the North East has rarely been showcased as a sandwich filling and it’s this very challenge that pushed Gitika to try what has never been attempted before. For the pop-up, Gitika has re-imagined her existing popular dishes as sandwich fillings and experimented with new recipes to complement the pav.

When: Saturday, March 10 to Sunday March 11; Noon to 1 am
