#MillennialsSpeak About Their Weird Pet Peeves

We all get annoyed by different things, there are some pet peeves which are unique, what are some pet peeves that make your skin crawl?

We all get annoyed by different things – people chewing loudly or when someone drives without using turn signals or when people burp without covering their mouths. These, and many more, are some common pet peeves that most people have.

But then there are those pet peeves which are unique to each one of us – things that make us wonder if there's something wrong with us. So we asked around to see the kind of weird and strange pet peeves that millennials have, and the responses have us laughing.

What Are Your Pet Peeves?

"When people enter an elevator or train before letting people get out. Just take a chill pill and WAIT. There's literally no hurry, the elevator or train will wait. The amount of times I've been pushed back into a train is unreal. Do you have a bomb you need to diffuse? No? Then just wait, for the love of God." Sanjana, 24, Student.

"When I'm reading a book and someone starts to talk to me as if I'm not doing anything. I'M READING. At least say "excuse me." It's so frustrating, and it is worse if they keep disturbing you over and over and you can't even finish a line you're reading. Just respect my space man, and let a person read!" Aniruddh, 25, Engineer.

" When I ask someone three questions in a text or email and they reply with only the answer to my first question. Hello? This is not an optional or multiple-choice exam question. Just answer me properly and let me be at peace. Do you do this intentionally? Or is it just an annoying trait you've always had? I put time and effort into the first two questions as well, so just answer them!!" Drishti, 24, Photographer.

"When people take 20 tissues, use one, then throw them all away. So much waste. It makes my skin crawl. They'll pick out a hoard of tissues only to lightly rub their hands and lips and then throw the whole thing away. Just give it to me, I'll use it for a few days and teach you some manners." Priya, 29, Engineer.

"I hate when people keep their tabs open on their phone, even when they are not using the apps. Do you know how much battery it consumes? All of it! It's so frustrating, anytime I find someone do that they get an earful from me and then I close their apps. Mom, I'm looking at you." Divyali, 27, Writer.

"People who go to the beach but don't get into the sea. They'll always say something like "Ew, everything will get sticky and wet and salty. I don't want to ruin my outfit or hair" THEN DON'T COME TO THE BEACH. I hate it, it's so stupid, why are you at the beach? To look at the sand and sea and go home? Pathetic." Namrata, 24, Artist.

"People who walk slowly or stop suddenly in the middle of the sidewalk. This is not your house, this is a street where there are millions of people walking. Go fast or move to the side. I get so angry when people do this at the station, or on the footpath. There's no space to walk anyway, don't make it worse." Pranav, 24, Engineer.
