#MillennialsSpeak On How They Pace Their Alcohol On Long Nights

It's never easy to make it through the night without projectile vomiting, so just like anything else, millennials have hacked their way through it.

That tipsy buzz and the loud music is good enough to lead to a night of great fun and memories that you will probably forget as soon as you wake up. But, for most millennials though, a short night of tipsy fun is just the beginning to a long night of sloshed excitement.

It's never easy to make it through the night without projectile vomiting or ending up with an expensive tattoo that reads "I am stupid" on your forehead - so just like anything else, millennials have hacked their way through the messy nights.

Each person has a system of a different kind and there's nothing better than following through that system and emerging victorious. So, we asked a few millennials what are their drinking tricks to pace their way through the night.

What Millennials Do

"It's easy dude. You start out with cocktails that aren't potent and take water breaks every two hours. Pee. Get tipsy enough to dance, but not tipsy enough to text your ex. Then, phase two - shots. Multiple shots. End with water, and lemon. Now you're drunk, but you aren't sloshed. So you can dance, and text your ex. But that's okay. And then, phase three - hard drinks. Whiskey, Vodka, Tequilla, Rum - anything really, with any soda or water. A few of those down - there you have it. A perfectly sloshed person - who still knows what's happening because of all the peeing and water breaks. And, if you drink coffee after all of that, hangovers feel like little headaches - not the end of the world." - Saniya, 25, Law Student.

"Water breaks, pee breaks, and a responsible sober friend. The three things to make sure you're alive at the end of the night. Also, start off with shots so the effects wear off faster by the time you've moved on to other drinks. Always works. And a hangover tip? Just sleep through the day. Pop a crocin in the morning and don't wake up till it's the next day." - Jai, 24, Psychology student.

"I am such a lightweight. It takes me like 5 large Old Monks to get me sloshed. So I drink them all pretty fast, and then the high stays for the rest of the night, but it keeps wearing off slowly - till I decide I want some more Rum. So basically, if you're a lightweight just drink up, and drink fast - you'll be drunk in no time, and by the time you're on your way home you'll only be mildly tipsy." Nitya, 21, English Literature Student.

"You just have to know your capacity. You have a few till you get drunk-ish and then take a break till it wears off. Then have a couple more - repeat. You'll remember everything, the hangover will be a breeze and by the end of the night you won't be puking into some random Uber." Rizvaan, 23, MBA student.

"Start off with beer, then move to hard drinks - Vodka or Whiskey and the kind - then move to shots and then don't drink anything else except water. It's the easiest way to pace your way through a long night of drinking. Just schedule your drinks. And eat something, it helps keep you grounded." Saif, 22, Law Student.

"Just drink beers. In a glorious quantity, because they take looooong to get you drunk. I once had 24 beers just to feel tipsy for 3 hours. So, I think beers work best if you have a long night of partying." Shivani, 21, B.Com Student.

So, if you guys have long nights of partying planned, maybe try some of these hacks and tips and let us know if they work. Happy drinking, folks.
