Taco Bell To Open 600 Outlets In India, Creating 25,000 New Jobs For Indians!

Looks like the Mexican food company is doing really well in India!

A lot of International fast food companies have recently ventured into India. While a lot of them fail to draw crowds, Taco Bell has been doing a great job.

Taco Bell sells spicy, Mexican style fast food and we guess their food really suits the Indian Pallete as Indian Cuisine and Mexican Cuisine share a lot of common ingredients and spices. Taco Bell has only 35 outlets in India as of now but due to high sales, the brand has decided to make India its largest market.

On 23rd May, Taco Bell announced a plan to open 600 restaurants in India over the next 10 years and cash in on the country’s massive market and rapidly growing middle class.

Ankush Tuli, the restaurant chain’s managing director in Asia said that Taco bell sees a lot of opportunities in India as it is a largely untapped market for the brand. Apart from the 35 already functioning outlets, Taco Bell will open more than 25 outlets by the end of this year.

Not only will this move make tasty Mexican food more accessible to its consumers, the new restaurants will also create more than 25,000 jobs for Indians.
