The restaurant not only has staff that are specially-abled, but it is run and managed by an NGO called Deaf Enabled Foundation. While the food is served with love, it’s the soul of the place that leaves immensely happy and content. This special restaurant has the most courteous staff, who with their million-dollar smile make an endless effort to serve you, with nothing less than the best.

Food and Ambience

This is a restaurant with a difference. And Oh boy! What a difference it is. You feel so positive about the whole conceptualisation, that life isn’t difficult at all. It’s just how we look at it. Tucked inside the Paryatak Bhavan (Tourism Plaza), Begumpet, this eatery has kept the ambience very simple. The colourful sign gestures have decked up the walls of the place. Table mats have clipart of sign language, to make it easier for the guests, to communicate with the staff. Overall a very spic & span looking restaurant.

The food menu too has sign gestures printed on it. Don’ worry if you can’t really master it, the courteous staff will help you through it smoothly. The menu has North Indian, Chinese, Mughlai options to choose from. You can try Dal Tadka, Dum ka Murgh, and Butter Chicken. Though these dishes aren’t something very fancy, the taste lingers on buds for long.

Haven’t we all visited the usual fine-dining? Now, it’s time to dine in with a difference. As the tagline of the restaurant as ‘Sign & Dine’, let’s try to encourage such initiatives.
