If anything, Mumbai is known for its vibrant nightlife and diverse mix of cultures. With the sheer number of Christmas events, there's something for everyone. However, all the information and countless posts can soon get overwhelming.
If this is the case for you, fear not. We decided to narrow down the best places and events around town. After all, 'tis the season to be jolly.

Todi Mills has some of the best nightlife venues, and Thirsty City 127 is no exception. The chic, stylish, Art-Deco-inspired bar opens at 6 pm and shall host a Christmas Eve Block Party 7 pm onwards. Special Christmas Brew-Craft Cocktails and a wintery menu won't fail to get you in the mood.

Kitty Su Mumbai
You can't talk about nightlife in Mumbai without mentioning Kitty Su. As one of the most progressive and inclusive party spaces in the city, you are bound to have a great time. Their Christmas Eve party shall begin at 10 pm and rage on till 2 am, featuring Raytrix as well as other "musical surprises" up their sleeves.
Entry starts at Rs. 2000 and can be booked online here.
If you're not much of a party person, this unique event may be a great way to spend your Christmas evening. Organised by Jack & Hill Adventures, the X'Mas Sail shall take place at the Gateway of India.
The sail itself is for 1.5 hours, plus 30 minutes transfer to and from the Jetty into the sleek sailboats. Snacks and sweets shall be provided onboard, as well as life jackets and technical assistance.
Of course, this is a limited capacity event; all spots could be booked pretty soon. Bookings are at Rs. 2500 per person. If this seems like something up your, well, sail? Book your spot immediately to guarantee yourself a one-of-a-kind Christmas.
Several restaurants and hotels host Christmas brunches, as is the tradition. If you're more of a morning person than a late-night partier, you have several options across the city, including Doolally Taproom, London Taxi, Sofitel, and The Boston Butt.
Do check for availability before heading there, though, to ensure a relaxed start to the day of festivities.
Open Mics and Karaokes
Love performing, or performances? (or both, no judgement here.) In that case, open mics and Karaokes hosted at various venues around the city may be the best place for you to celebrate amongst a bunch of enthusiastic, likely drunk but well-meaning people. Doolally Taproom, once again, comes to the rescue with a special Christmas Themed Open Mic.
Mumbai has several gorgeous and well-decorated churches that host the traditional midnight Christmas mass. Seas of singing carols and holy celebrations have a completely different atmosphere from nightclubs, of course, so if that's more of your thing, there are numerous churches across town as well as the suburbs that host masses.
Bandra's Mount Mary Basilica is one of the most popular ones, attended by celebrities and... the rest of us alike.
