The Binge guide to consuming Bhaang on Holi

Happy Holi, Happy Tripping!

Every year, millions of Indians consume Bhaang to get intoxicated on the occasion of Holi. While most people drink it for recreational purposes, a lot of people don't know what kind of effects it can have on your body. Bhang is made by crushing hemp or marijuana leaves with an assortment of spices to give it a distinct and earthy flavour. The ingredients are crushed together to make a goopy chutney that will get you High AF! Here is the Binge guide to everything you need to know while consuming Bhaang.

Where can you get Bhaang?
Most Paan/Cigarette shops in Mumbai will stock up on Bhaang before Holi. Ask your local paan wala if he has Bhang and if he doesn't, he will direct you to a place where you will get it for sure. A lot of dairies and sweet shops also sell Bhaang Thandaai by the litre. You can also ask your security guard if he knows where you can score some!

How do you consume Bhaang?
The most convenient way is to mix a little bit of the Bhaang with Thandaai, a sweet drink made with milk and sugar. But there are many other interesting ways to consume it. A lot of Paan shops offer Bhaang Pan on Holi! You can mix Bhaang chutney with absolutely any milk-based drink like Lassi or Chaas. A lot of people also make Bhang Pakodas by frying fresh leaves dipped in a spicy batter. But my personal favourite way to consume it is to mix a lump of the chutney with Maaza. The Maaza turns green in colour but is really tasty and helps you gulp down the mix faster.

How high will you get after consuming Bhaang?
Bhaang is an edible and the more you consume, the higher you will fly. Bhaang gives you a body high and you will lose a lot of motor control in your body. Your words will get sloppier with time and it will also make you want to dance to sleazy Bollywood numbers. Bhaang is also an aphrodisiac and you WILL get horny after consuming it. Bhaang will also make it seem that you have spent hours doing something or walking to some place but when you look at your watch, only a few minutes will have passed by! You will also feel extremely hungry and eat as much as you can.

Things to avoid while high on Bhaang
Stay away from your phone! Do not call your parents or loved ones as they will instantly know that you are high. Also, don't call your ex as they may be confused as to why you are mumbling on the phone. It's a known fact that men get a little wild on Holi and may turn into savages and try to feel you up.  Bhaang makes you horny, but keep it in your pants guys! Avoid eating any sort of sugary sweets like Gulab Jamun or Jalebis as they will accelerate your high and make you really tipsy. If you are out with friends, form a buddy program so that no one is left behind. (speaking from experience) And lastly, be responsible and don't drive a car or ride a bike after consuming Bhaang as you would put yours and other peoples lives in danger.
