Every now and then, an internet challenge starts trending on social media where people dare each other to do a certain task. Challenges like the ice-bucket challenge and Kiki Challenge became viral globally. The Bottle Cap Challenge was once such a trend where people were twisting the cap of a bottle just by Kung-Fu kicking it!

A lot of celebrities got on the bandwagon. After International stars like Jason Statham put out videos of them kicking off a bottle cap, people across the globe started making videos to see if they can do the same. Even Indian celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Vidyut Jamwal took this as an opportunity to show off their martial arts skills.

But the thing with these challenges is that they come and they go. As one of these challenge series is about to die a new one emerges. The latest of these challenges is the #IceCreamChallenge. But unlike most challenges which are for fun or for a cause, this challenge is pretty absurd.

This challenge emerged when a video of a woman walking into a departmental store and picking up a tub of ice cream, licking it and keeping it back in the freezer emerged on the internet. Unlike other challenges, the ice cream challenge has encouraged people to ruin ice cream in various ways. Hundreds of people went into grocery stores and malls only to pick up a tub of ice cream, lick it and keep it back in the freezer.

Most of these videos came from America and a lot of these people who destroyed good tubs of ice cream were arrested. But this challenge gave rise to another series where people started posting videos of how they buy ice cream after the challenge went viral. People have been uploading videos of digging deep into the freezer and picking up the last tub of ice cream so that they are sure that no one has licked it!

We wonder if someone dared to do this challenge in India!
