After Mumbai witnessed the Total Lunar Eclipse, if you are a moon lover, it’s time to rejoice. Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon is coming to India this week. The art work measures seven metres in diameter and features detailed imagery of the surface of the moon. Each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface. Over its lifetime, the Museum of the Moon will be presented in a number of different ways both indoors and outdoors. The Moon will travel across India to five locations over the next month.  
As the Moon travels around the world it will gather new musical compositions and an ongoing collection of personal responses, stories and mythologies, as well as highlighting the latest moon science.  Museum Of The Moon will be showcased at the Gateway OF India for two days – Saturday 3rd February and Sunday 4th February. Head to Gateway Of India for a unique experience and bath under the moonlight of a spectacular, large-scale installation of moon, supported by the State Government of Maharashtra! As they say, the sun sees your body; the moon sees your soul. Make sure you witness the magic of the moon.
