For all those people living under a rock and don't know what a Momo is - Momo is basically dough wrapped around meat and stuffed vegetables. Originated from Tibet, it's found its way to Kolkata and all over India throughout over the years gaining popularity. Momo's now has become very famous among the street food scene all around the country, especially in the Northern part of the country. There are a lot of ways to cook and eat Momo's. The most common way is to steam cook them and then have them. There are slight variations as well, where the momos, after cooking them with steam, are then fried and eat them as fried momos. Another variation is called, pan-fried momo's where, once again, after the momos are steam cooked, they are again cooked in a pan with a little stock and sauces to give it a different taste. One more pretty famous variation is the Kothey Momo, it's a Nepalese dish where the momo is steamed on one side and fried on the other side.
