Want to help the Kerala Flood Victims? Here is how you can!

Online platforms like Amazon and Paytm too have initiated a noble step towards this crisis. They have created windows for outstation people, to contribute willingly for the relief fund. Even the tiniest step, would be of great aid

When the entire country is weeping with Kerala, as God’s Own Country is facing a disaster unprepared for, we at Binge have decided to not fall behind, in calling out for helping hands. Having faced the worst rainfall in 100 years, Kerala is in pain that only people facing the calamity can know. And our heart goes out to those who are in the middle of nowhere, now.

Nature’s fury is unpredictable and certainly leaves everyone in distress, like this irreparable tragedy that has hit Kerala. The subsequent flooding has left thousands of houses damaged, countless families have become homeless, and have left animals stranded. With over 324 deaths being reported so far, several people are marooned without water, food and other basic necessities.

But the entire country is working, to pull up Kerala back together. Though the Central Government has raised an emergency fund, to meet the crisis, different states also have accumulated funds to provide monetary help to the distressed state. NGO’s like Goong, Habitat, too have collaborated to provide help in all forms, to the people facing this calamity. Kerela Samajam Societies in different cities have requested the local residents to help with whatever they can, in this noble cause. Crowdfunding platforms like Milap and Ketto are also raising funds to procure the relief material.

Online platforms like Amazon and Paytm too have initiated a noble step towards this crisis. They have created windows for outstation people, to contribute willingly for the relief fund. Even the tiniest step, would be of great aid in this situation.

So, here’s a humble request to everyone out there, to be a part of this undertaking and look out for means of contributing whatever you can (cash or kind). Let’s all pray for Kerala and let the people affected know, that we are #allforkerala.
