Masturbation is really normal and healthy sexual behaviour. But if over-practiced, it can lead to serious psychological and physiological imbalances. But what exactly is over masturbation?
If you masturbate two or more times in a day, you are overdoing it and you need to stop ASAP!
Every time you masturbate, your body goes through a lot of changes. For starters, masturbation rapidly increases your internal body temperature which is why you feel hot or sweaty after the act. According to Anael.org, when a person ejaculates, a “complex movement of absorption takes place and by effect of the emptiness, the seminal vesicle (glands that make components of semen) tries to fill and humid air is absorbed through the penis which is later travelling to the lymphatic system, arriving at the brain producing a thermal shock and cold spaces between the cerebral neurons. This, in turn, affects cerebral, physical and nervous normality.”
Sperm also contains DNA which is a carrier of the heredity genetic code and RNA which contains enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, hormones, etc. So every time you ejaculate, you release a small percentage of these and the loss of excessive amounts of these can cause fatigue and pain in the bones.
Over masturbation or more accurately said over ejaculation, stimulates parasympathetic nervous functions that leads to excess production of sex hormones. And abnormally high levels of sex hormones cause your brain and adrenal glands to make rapid changes to your body chemistry.
One of the main side effects of over masturbation is hair loss. You also experience problems with concentration and memory. Deteriorating eyesight, mood swings, sleeping disorders, anxiety, stress, and depression are some of the most prominent side effects of excess masturbation.
Scary isn’t it? But that doesn’t mean that you completely stop shagging. Doctors recommend keeping masturbation down to a maximum of three times a week. It's healthy to masturbate, but as long as you are doing it in controlled amounts, it won’t do you any harm.
