Zomato plans on rolling out delivery drones!

I wonder how many of these would get stuck in wires hanging from buildings!

Food delivery and listing app Zomato has decided to take deliveries to the next level. The company has decided that in order to get an upper hand on its competition, the company has decided to deploy drones!

So in the near future, instead of a delivery executive, your food may be delivered by a drone!

Zomato has acquired a Lucknow based company named TechEagle Innovations. The company builds custom drones for commercial use and will create brand new drones for Zomato.

TechEagle's unmanned multi-rotor drones will help Zomato streamline their delivery process and may even cut costs for the company.

It looks like Zomato is really on to something but I think in a country like India, they would end up losing their drones to hanging telephone and electric wires, surprising weather conditions and people who try to knock down the drone with rocks, nets or other obstacles in order to obtain a toy!
